July 7, 2008
Ainsworth, Wisconsin. Six teenagers discovered a small crater in a field with a weird machine the size of a large cell phone. They interacted with it, and it materialized a solid sphere six feet in diameter made of an unknown but impenetrable metal. Two of the teenagers were inside the sphere and are presumed dead. Two more were bisected by the sphere and died instantly. The two survivors were traumatized.

Temple, Texas. A farmer woke in the morning to find a glowing artifact had fallen in his field. All the cattle, chickens and other animals in a 2000-foot radius had grown a layer of metallic ‘hair’ on the surfaces of their bodies, which slowly killed them as it grew both outward and inward.

Le Vésinet, France. A train derailed when it collided with a one-pound piece of green putty which is soft and pliable when held in the hands, but is harder than the strongest steel when touched by anything non-organic.

Burton, England. Dozens of witness observe a 10-foot-tall, moving figure seemingly made of long spindly pieces of metal. The figure ambled through the town center, stepping on cars and leaving potholes in the street, until it left the town and was lost.

Oxnard, California. Three men stole $300,000 from a bank using a handheld contraption which seemed to slow time for everyone outside a six-foot radius from the device.
